We Got It....but you gotta read it all for the surprise
Ok, so here's the story. Rodger and I hate our landlord and everything that goes with him (that includes the house). You see, we were giving our rent to our landlord, then to his Uncle and on Thursday his mom came over and said that from now on she will be picking it up on the first. But you what is really funny. We have never been late on a payment. Our rent is 500 a month and it's a piece of crap house. Our landlord lied to me and Rodger's mom. He told us that on top of the carpet being brand new, so are the paint, the blinds, the air conditioners, the tile and the electric! We thought this was gonna be great so I signed the lease on the 15th of september. I was to move in on the 1st of October. So I got all of my stuff in and started setting up the house. The second day I was there, the air conditioner goes out. So I moved the baby and our stuff to the baby's room, that air conditioner doesn't even have knobs. The only way you can make it work is with a pair of plyers. So we move to my room....I turned it on and it finally worked. It was the ONLY new one. So I called them and it took 3 days to have someone out here to fix it. You all know Oklahoma weather and you know it can be freezing cold in October or it can be in the 90s. The October was in the 90s. Well, after about a month of thinking everything was fine. Winter comes. We've heard it's cheaper to use the electric heaters in the rooms you're in instead of using a gas powered heater. So we went and bought some really nice heaters. We get them home and plug em up. Everything was good for about a week. Then while Rodger was at work then lights starting going out in the house....so everyone can imagine how scared i was. So I called Rodger and he said to go check the breakers. They had flipped. Well, we didnt' really think about what might have caused it so we just carried on. The next day it started doing it again. We call the landlord. His wife calls me back two days later. "Well, you're just gonna have to stop running the electric heaters and use the gas instead. The electricity in the house can't handle electric heaters. I don't know what to tell you," she says. I didn't even bother calling her back. Well, I'm gonna stop complaing now and just tell you guys what's going on. I bet you probably really want to know. Rodger has to go sign his paperwork tomorrow. He's going active duty. We just found out on Thursday. We'll know more by Wednesday so I'll write more later. Love you all.
